The Ninja is an expanded class that fights with shuriken and huuma blades, vanishes into the shadows, and channels elemental ninpou magic through three distinct specializations.

Three Specialization Branches

Throwing centers on ranged and melee physical attacks powered by shuriken and huuma blades. Kenpou Training raises STR and Hit as a passive foundation, while Throw Shuriken and Throw Huuma Shuriken provide ranged options at single-target and splash range respectively. Huuma Shuriken - Grasp places a spinning blade on the ground that detonates over a wide area. Throwing Expertise passively sharpens the accuracy and output of all throwing attacks. The branch culminates in the Death Mark burst line: Death Mark accumulates the Ninja's physical damage on a marked target, and Shadow Slash and Tsugari then detonate that stored pressure in rapid succession.

Shadow and Support provides the Ninja's mobility, evasion, and battle-state tools. Shadow Jump teleports the Ninja to any cell and enters Hiding on arrival, enabling instant repositioning or ambush setups. Cicada Skin Shedding grants a set of physical dodge charges that knock attackers back on proc. Mirror Image adds additional evasion charges without the knockback effect. Ninja Aura is a self-buff state that raises ATK and ASPD while unlocking Mirror Image and augmenting several other skills. Flip Tatami delivers a cross-shaped melee strike that knocks nearby enemies back and grants the caster a brief Pneuma-like projectile shield. Shadow Hiding, unlocked through a special quest, provides a sustained toggle-hide that drains SP over time.

Ninpou Magic covers three elemental spell lines built on Ninpou Training, a passive that raises INT and SP recovery. The Fire line features Crimson Fire Petal for multi-hit single-target pressure, Crimson Fire Formation for a short-range storm around the caster that can inflict Burning, and Raging Fire Dragon as a heavy area nuke. The Water line offers Spear of Ice for single-target multi-hit damage, Hidden Water which creates a puddle that slows enemies and cloaks allies passing through it, and Ice Meteor for falling pillars that can inflict Freezing. The Wind line provides Wind Blade for single-target hits, Lightning Strike of Destruction as a ground area-of-effect, and Kamaitachi for a line attack between caster and target.

Key Mechanics

The Ninpou lines are connected by three elemental haze passives that reward chaining spell types in sequence. Combustion Gale reduces the cast time of Fire skills after a Wind skill lands. Thermal Haze raises the damage of Water skills after a Fire skill. Hydro Gale increases both the damage and cast speed of Wind skills after a Water skill. Cycling through all three elements in the right order keeps all three haze bonuses active simultaneously, creating a rhythm that rewards experienced casters.

The Death Mark burst loop operates independently of the magic lines. Death Mark must be applied first to store incoming physical damage; Shadow Slash deals additional damage and hits twice from Hiding, while Tsugari adds a two-hit melee strike that can critical. Ninja Aura is a prerequisite for Mirror Image and strengthens both the physical and shadow tools, so physical-build Ninjas almost always maintain the Aura state during combat.

Progression

The Ninja is an expanded class and does not follow the standard transcendent (rebirth) path. It has no current advancement class.
