Professor

Professor is the transcendent class of the Sage, gained after rebirth. Professors keep the Sage's entire toolkit and gain powerful support and disruption skills: Soul Burn to destroy an enemy's SP, Mind Breaker to amplify the magic damage a target takes, Memorize to slash cast time, and the Wall of Fog and Spider Web battlefield-control fields. They remain the Mage line's premier utility and anti-caster class.

Soul Burn attempts to instantly destroy 100% of an enemy's SP, with a success chance of 40% to 70% by level. A failed cast backfires and drains the Professor's own SP instead. At level 5 only, the cast also deals magic damage equal to twice the SP burned (to the target on success, or to the caster on failure). → Soul Burn

Mind Breaker debuffs a single enemy for 30 seconds, raising its magic attack by 20 × SkillLv percent while reducing its magic defense by 12 × SkillLv percent (up to +100%/−60% at level 5). It also cancels the target's current cast and forces monsters to aggro the Professor. Success chance is 55 + 5 × SkillLv percent. → Mind Breaker
