Free Cast frees the Sage from standing still while casting, letting them walk during the cast bar of a spell.
Overview
Normally a character is rooted in place while casting. Free Cast removes that restriction: the Sage can keep moving while a spell is charging. Movement during a cast is slower than normal, but the higher the skill level the closer it gets to full walking speed.
Mechanics
While a spell is being cast, the Sage may walk at a reduced speed instead of being locked in place.
Movement speed while casting: 175 − 5 × (5 + SkillLv) percent of normal — that is, 150% / 145% / 140% / 135% / 130% of the normal walk delay (the higher the number, the slower the movement), so each level moves a little faster than the last.
At the highest level, combined with the Sage's Soul Link, movement while casting can become completely unrestricted.
