Rogue
The Rogue is the second-class advancement of the Thief. Rogues sharpen the Thief's tricks into a predatory, opportunistic fighting style: silent ambushes launched from Hiding, a bag of dirty tricks that robs and outmaneuvers foes, an arsenal that strips and disables the most dangerous enemies, and a surprising command of the bow. They open from the shadows with heavy strikes, cripple their target, punish any weakness it shows, and slip away before the counterattack lands. A Rogue eventually advances into the Stalker.
Stealth
Tunnel Drive
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
| Max level | 5 |
Tunnel Drive lets the Rogue keep moving while Hidden instead of being rooted in place. Higher levels close the gap between hidden movement and a normal walking pace, turning Hiding from a passive escape into an active way to reposition and stalk. It is the foundation of the Rogue's stealth play. → Tunnel Drive
Back Stab
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Offensive |
| Target | Enemy |
| Element | Weapon |
| Max level | 10 |
Back Stab is the Rogue's signature opener: the Rogue darts behind the target and drives a multi-hit strike into its back, hitting even harder with a dagger. It can be used straight out of Hiding, and striking from stealth greatly increases its chance to leave the victim reeling. Landing it is the classic way to start a fight on the Rogue's terms. → Back Stab
Raid
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Offensive |
| Target | Self |
| Element | Weapon |
| Max level | 5 |
Raid bursts out from the Rogue to batter every enemy in the surrounding area with a single heavy blow. It can leave those it hits stunned or blinded and, more importantly, marks them to take extra physical damage for a short time afterward. Opening from Hiding makes the disorienting effect far more likely to land. → Raid
Trickery
Snatcher
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
| Max level | 5 |
Snatcher turns the Rogue's ordinary attacks into a source of loot, giving each normal hit against a monster a chance to trigger Steal automatically at no SP cost. It lets a Rogue farm items simply by fighting, without pausing to Steal by hand. The proc leans on the Rogue's Steal level and is less reliable when attacking with a bow. → Snatcher
Intimidate
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Offensive |
| Target | Enemy |
| Element | Weapon |
| Max level | 5 |
Intimidate is a close-range strike that can drag both the Rogue and the target away to a random spot on the map. It is a disruptive tool for ripping an enemy out of position, breaking up a formation, or relocating a stubborn foe. The chance to teleport improves with skill level and against lower-level targets. → Intimidate
Compulsion Discount
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
| Max level | 5 |
Compulsion Discount lets the Rogue haggle down the price of goods bought from NPC shops. It is the Rogue's counterpart to the Merchant's bargaining, and only the better of the two discounts applies if a character somehow has both. A convenient quality-of-life passive for anyone who buys supplies in bulk. → Compulsion Discount
Plagiarism
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Player |
| Max level | 10 |
Plagiarism is the Rogue's most iconic trick: cast it on another player to copy one of their offensive skills and add it to your own arsenal. The copied skill stays with you until you steal a different one, and higher levels let you wield it at a greater power. It gives the Rogue enormous flexibility, borrowing whatever tool the situation calls for. → Plagiarism
Debuffer
Strip Helm
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Enemy |
| Max level | 3 |
Strip Helm tears the headgear off an enemy. Against other players it removes the equipped helm for a time, and against monsters it always lands and saps their magic power. It is the first link in the Rogue's chain of disarming skills. → Strip Helm
Strip Shield
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Enemy |
| Max level | 3 |
Strip Shield knocks the shield out of an enemy's hand. Players lose the use of their shield for a time, while monsters take a lasting cut to their magic defense. It weakens a target's ability to soak damage. → Strip Shield
Strip Armor
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Enemy |
| Max level | 3 |
Strip Armor strips the armor from an enemy. Against players it removes the equipped armor for a time, and against monsters it cuts into their physical defense. It softens a durable target so the Rogue and its allies hit harder. → Strip Armor
Strip Weapon
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Enemy |
| Max level | 3 |
Strip Weapon disarms an enemy entirely. Players lose their weapon for a time, leaving them unable to attack, while monsters have their attack power blunted. It is the most aggressive of the strip skills and the capstone of the chain. → Strip Weapon
Gangster's Paradise
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
| Max level | 5 |
Gangster's Paradise rewards the Rogue for kicking an enemy while it is down, adding bonus physical damage against any target that is already suffering a status ailment or has been stripped of its equipment. It pairs naturally with the Rogue's own disabling tools and with allies who apply crowd control. The bonus applies whenever the target is impaired, no matter how the ailment got there. → Gangster's Paradise
Close Confine
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Enemy |
| Max level | 1 |
Close Confine locks the Rogue and a single enemy together in melee, pinning the target in place so it cannot flee. The Rogue is held there too, so it is a commitment: a way to trap a runner or a caster and force the exchange. It deals no damage on its own and instead sets up the Rogue's harder-hitting skills. → Close Confine
Ranged combat
Dagger & Bow Mastery
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
| Max level | 10 |
Dagger & Bow Mastery is the root of the Rogue's weapon training, raising both attack power and attack speed while a dagger or a bow is equipped. It rewards the Rogue for committing to either of its two favored weapon styles. Many of the Rogue's other combat skills branch out from this mastery. → Dagger & Bow Mastery
Vulture's Eye
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
| Max level | 10 |
Vulture's Eye sharpens the Rogue's aim, improving accuracy and extending attack range while wielding a bow. Inherited from the archer's discipline, it lets a Rogue fight effectively at a distance and rarely miss. It supports the Rogue's bow-based skills. → Vulture's Eye
Double Strafe
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Offensive |
| Target | Enemy |
| Element | Weapon |
| Max level | 10 |
Double Strafe fires two arrows at a single target in one motion, giving the Rogue a cheap, reliable ranged burst. It is the backbone of a bow-focused Rogue's damage and needs only a bow and arrows. → Double Strafe
Advanced Double Attack
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
| Max level | 10 |
Advanced Double Attack builds on the Thief's Double Attack, raising the chance for it to trigger and eventually freeing it from the dagger requirement so it works with any weapon. At its highest level, each Double Attack briefly quickens the Rogue's attack speed. It rewards a fast, aggressive melee style. → Advanced Double Attack
Arrow Crafting
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Self |
| Max level | 1 |
Arrow Crafting lets the Rogue turn raw materials into arrows, including elemental types not sold in shops. It keeps a bow-using Rogue supplied with ammunition from monster loot and gathered items. → Arrow Crafting
Remove Trap
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Trap |
| Max level | 1 |
Remove Trap clears a placed trap from the ground without setting it off. It is the safe way to dismantle a Hunter's snare or mine, useful for a Rogue who scouts ahead. → Remove Trap
Utility
Graffiti
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Ground |
| Max level | 1 |
Graffiti lets the Rogue spray a mark on the ground that lingers for a few minutes. It is a cosmetic and territorial flourish, a way to leave a calling card on the battlefield. Only one of the Rogue's marks can exist at a time. → Graffiti
Cleaner
| Job | Rogue |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
| Target | Ground |
| Max level | 1 |
Cleaner wipes graffiti off the ground across a wide area. It is the counterpart to Graffiti, used to clear away marks. → Cleaner
