Gangster's Paradise is a passive that adds bonus physical damage whenever the Rogue attacks a target that is already impaired by a status ailment or stripped of its gear. It rewards the Rogue for finishing off a weakened foe.
Overview
Gangster's Paradise makes the Rogue an opportunist. Any time the target is suffering one of a wide range of ailments, or has lost equipment to a Strip skill, the Rogue's physical attacks against it hit harder. It synergizes with the Rogue's own disabling tools and with allies who apply crowd control.
Mechanics
The Rogue's physical (weapon) damage against an afflicted target is increased.
Damage bonus: +5 × SkillLv %
The bonus applies as long as the target has at least one of the following conditions: Stone Curse, Freeze, Freezing, Stun, Sleep, Poison, Deadly Poison, Burning, Curse, Silence, Slow Cast, Confusion, Blind, Bleeding, Critical Wounds, or any Strip effect (weapon, shield, armor or helm). The bonus is applied once and does not stack for a target that has several ailments at the same time.
Leveling
| Level | Damage bonus vs. an afflicted target |
|---|---|
| 1 | +5% |
| 2 | +10% |
| 3 | +15% |
| 4 | +20% |
| 5 | +25% |
Notes
Gangster's Paradise pairs naturally with Back Stab (Stun), Raid (Stun/Blind) and the Rogue's Divest skills, all of which set up the condition it needs. It also benefits from any ailments an allied party applies. It is a prerequisite for Back Stab and Raid.
