Iron Hand
Overview
Iron Hand is the conditioning passive that turns the Monk's bare hands into a weapon. Every level adds permanent attack power and a small amount of attack speed while fighting barehanded or with knuckles, which makes it the foundation of every unarmed build and the gateway to most of the class tree.
Mechanics
The bonus applies only when the Monk is unarmed or equipped with a knuckle-class weapon. It is always active and costs nothing to maintain.
- Attack power: +4 × SkillLv ATK
- Attack speed: +0.5 × SkillLv %
Iron Hand is also a prerequisite for a large part of the tree: Dodge, Steel Body and Gentle Touch - Cure all branch from it, so its level tends to be raised early even by builds that do not fight with fists.
Leveling
| Level | Attack power | Attack speed |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | +4 ATK | +0.5% |
| 2 | +8 ATK | +1% |
| 3 | +12 ATK | +1.5% |
| 4 | +16 ATK | +2% |
| 5 | +20 ATK | +2.5% |
| 6 | +24 ATK | +3% |
| 7 | +28 ATK | +3.5% |
| 8 | +32 ATK | +4% |
| 9 | +36 ATK | +4.5% |
| 10 | +40 ATK | +5% |
Notes
- The bonus does not apply with any other weapon type, so a Monk who switches to a mace or staff loses it entirely.
- Level 2 unlocks Dodge, level 3 unlocks Steel Body and level 4 unlocks Gentle Touch - Cure.
