Shield Boomerang is an offensive skill of the Crusader class that hurls the equipped shield at a distant enemy, dealing physical damage influenced by the shield's weight and refine level.
Overview
Shield Boomerang gives the Crusader a ranged option built around the shield itself. Heavier and more refined shields hit harder, so the skill rewards investing in a well-refined, weighty shield. Its range grows with skill level. A shield must be equipped to use it.
Mechanics
Damage formula:
- Damage = 150 + 30 × SkillLv (% of ATK)
- Bonus attack power = shield Weight + 4 × shield Refine
The attack takes the element of the user's weapon. While Auto Guard is active, Shield Boomerang deals extra damage equal to +2 × (Auto Guard level) % of its damage.
Leveling
SP cost stays flat at every level, so leveling Shield Boomerang purely increases damage and throwing range. Maxing it gives the longest reach and the highest base multiplier.
Requirements
A shield must be equipped to cast Shield Boomerang.
Notes
Shield Boomerang can be copied by Plagiarism and Reproduce. It requires Shield Charge as a prerequisite.
