Combustion Gale is a passive elemental-haze skill of the Ninja. After using a Wind skill, the lingering gale primes the air so that the Ninja's following Fire magic casts faster.

Overview

Combustion Gale is the Wind-to-Fire link in the Ninja's elemental haze chain. Whenever the Ninja lands a Wind skill, a short-lived haze is applied to the target. While that haze is active, the same Ninja can cast Fire magic with a reduced cast time. The skill deals no damage of its own.

Mechanics

Effect: after using a Wind skill, the target is afflicted with a haze for 5 seconds. While the haze lasts, the cast time of the Ninja's Fire magic skills is reduced by (8 × SkillLv)%.

• The cast-time reduction only benefits the Ninja who applied the haze.
• The haze duration is a fixed 5 seconds and does not scale with level.
• Wind skills that apply this haze include Wind Blade, Lightning Strike of Destruction, and Kamaitachi.
