Wind Blade is an offensive Wind-property magic skill of the Ninja that strikes a single enemy with a rapid flurry of cutting wind blades.

Overview

Wind Blade is the Ninja's basic Wind magic attack. It focuses entirely on one target, delivering several quick hits in a single cast. The number of hits grows with skill level, so higher levels both raise total damage and improve performance against targets that reduce damage per hit.

Casting Wind Blade applies the Combustion Gale haze to the caster, opening the elemental haze combo chain for the Ninja's Fire skills.

Mechanics

The skill hits one enemy multiple times. Each hit is calculated independently as magic damage.

Damage formula: each hit deals 100% MATK.

Number of hits: (1 + SkillLv), so 2 hits at Lv1 up to 6 hits at Lv5.

Effect: on cast, applies the Wind haze used by the Combustion Gale passive to the caster.

Notes

• All hits land on a single target; this is not a splash skill.
• The Cast Time of Wind Blade (and the Ninja's other Wind skills) can be reduced by the Hydro Gale haze, which also raises their damage.
