Shadow Slash is the Ninja's signature gap-closer: the ninja vanishes and reappears beside the target, delivering a single brutal weapon strike.
Overview
Shadow Slash instantly leaps the ninja to an enemy within range and lands a heavy melee blow. It is the opener of the melee combo line, setting up Tsugari and feeding Death Mark. The leap is disabled in GvG and Battlegrounds, but the strike still lands.
Mechanics
The ninja closes the distance to the target and strikes. While the ninja is hidden, the strike is split into two hits instead of one.
Damage formula: Damage per hit = (150 + 25 × SkillLv)% ATK
- While under Hiding, the skill lands 2 hits instead of 1, effectively doubling the total damage.
- On use, the ninja gains a Shadow Slash buff for 10 seconds that boosts Tsugari damage by +30% (or +60% if Ninja Aura is also active). The next Tsugari consumes this buff.
- Each hit feeds Death Mark, adding to the stored physical damage on a marked enemy.
Leveling
| Level | Damage per hit (% ATK) | SP cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 175% | 8 |
| 2 | 200% | 8 |
| 3 | 225% | 9 |
| 4 | 250% | 9 |
| 5 | 275% | 10 |
| 6 | 300% | 10 |
| 7 | 325% | 11 |
| 8 | 350% | 11 |
| 9 | 375% | 12 |
| 10 | 400% | 12 |
Requirements
- Kenpou Training Lv1
Notes
- The leap does not function in GvG or Battleground maps; only the strike is applied there.
- Combining the Hiding double-hit with the Tsugari buff setup forms the core of the Ninja melee rotation.
