Kamaitachi is a Wind-property magic line attack of the Ninja that summons a cutting whirlwind which slices through everything in its path.

Overview

Kamaitachi is the Ninja's strongest single-cast Wind skill. Instead of a point or a square area, it carves a straight line from the caster toward the chosen location, hitting every enemy caught between the caster and the target. Its long reach grows with level, allowing it to cut through entire rows of enemies.

Mechanics

A blade of wind travels in a line and damages all enemies along its path.

Damage formula: (100 + 100 × SkillLv)% MATK.

Range: 7 cells at Lv1–2, 8 cells at Lv3–4, and 9 cells at Lv5.

Effect: casting it applies the Wind haze used by the Combustion Gale passive to the caster.

Notes

• The skill hits in a line; enemies off the line between the caster and the target are not struck.
• The Cast Time of Kamaitachi (and the Ninja's other Wind skills) can be reduced, and its damage raised, by the Hydro Gale haze.
