Kafra Storage Service

From Vortex Legends

The Kafra Storage Service lets you keep your items safe in off-character storage. It is part of the Kafra Services menu and is available from any Kafra Staff.

Overview

Choosing Storage Service opens a sub-menu with several kinds of storage plus a security panel for protecting your Personal Storage with a password.

Storage Who can use it Default fee
Personal Storage Any character (Base Level 6+) 50z
Master Storage Any character (Base Level 6+) 120z
Guild Storage Guild members only 50z
Guild Storage Log Guild members only Free

Requirements

You must be at least Base Level 6 (a Novice who has gained a little experience) to use Personal or Master Storage. Below that level the Kafra will politely decline.

Personal Storage

Your own private stash, tied to your account. Default fee: 50z. If you have set a security code, you will be asked to enter it before the storage opens (see #Security options below).

Master Storage

The Master Storage is a single shared stash linked to your master account, meaning it is shared across all of the game accounts that belong to you. Items you deposit from one account are available to all the others, making it the ideal way to move gear and supplies between your own characters and accounts. Default fee: 120z.

Only one account can have the Master Storage open at a time; the server manages this automatically so your items are always safe.

Guild Storage

A shared stash for your guild. The Open Guild Storage option only appears when you are a member of a guild. Default fee: 50z. Guild masters can control who is allowed to deposit and withdraw through the guild's own settings.

Guild Storage Log

Guild members can also open the Guild Storage Log, a free record showing recent deposits and withdrawals so the guild can keep track of who took or added what. If the log is empty, the Kafra will let you know.

Security options

Personal Storage can be protected with a personal access code (a password). The Security Options panel lets you manage it:

  • Set Code — choose a code and enter it twice to confirm. You then pick a recovery question and provide its answer, used to restore access if you forget your code.
  • Reset Code — if you forget your code, answer your recovery question correctly to prove ownership, then set a brand-new code and recovery information.
  • Remove Code — enter your current code to remove the password (and its recovery information) entirely.

While a code is set, you must enter it every time you open your Personal Storage. The code is personal — keep it confidential, as its safekeeping is your responsibility. Recovery answers entered during a cancelled setup are never saved.

Kafra Points

Paying a storage fee earns you Kafra Points worth 10% of the Zeny spent (1 point per 10 Zeny). See Kafra Services for details.
