Critical Stabs is a passive skill of the Crusader class that sharpens Quick Stabs, raising its critical rate and granting further bonuses at higher levels. It turns the Knight-era spear thrust into a dependable critical attack for spear builds.
Overview
Critical Stabs improves the older Quick Stabs skill rather than producing an effect of its own. Once learned, every use of Quick Stabs gains additional critical rate, and at certain levels the skill picks up extra effects: a temporary attack bonus on kills and, at the maximum level, an additional hit per use.
Mechanics
The skill enhances Quick Stabs in three ways, unlocking each tier as Critical Stabs is leveled.
- Critical rate: Quick Stabs gains +(2 × SkillLv) critical rate.
- Level 5 or higher: Killing an enemy with Quick Stabs grants +20 ATK for 30 seconds.
- Level 10: Quick Stabs strikes three times per use instead of two.
The critical bonus applies whenever Quick Stabs is used, so it scales directly with the level invested here.

Notes
- This skill has no effect on its own; its bonuses are applied entirely through Quick Stabs.
- The on-kill attack bonus is a single buff; every new kill refreshes its 30 seconds.
- Critical Stabs is the deepest investment in the spear line, requiring Quick Stabs, Spear Mastery and Spear Quicken all at level 10.
