Overview
Acid Demonstration is the Creator's premier anti-armor weapon. The caster hurls a volatile mix of an acid bottle and a bottle grenade that detonates on a single enemy. Unlike ordinary attacks, its damage scales off the target's own toughness, so the sturdier and more defensive the foe, the harder it is hit, making it a strong answer to high-VIT bosses and tanks. Every detonation also threatens to corrode the target's weapon and armor.
Mechanics
The blast is not reduced by the target's DEF and cannot miss, since it ignores FLEE. Its damage is driven by the caster's INT and the target's VIT, so it deals nothing to a target whose VIT is 0.
Damage formula:
Damage = 7 × VIT × INT² ÷ ( 10 × ( VIT + INT ) )
where VIT is the target's VIT and INT is the caster's INT. Against another player the damage is halved.
The explosion is displayed as several impacts in a single cast, one per skill level (Lv 1 = 1 impact, up to Lv 10 = 10 impacts), and the total damage of the cast is the formula above multiplied by the number of impacts.
The damage is Neutral property. It is not affected by the caster's weapon element or by elemental endows, but the target's own elemental armor still reduces or increases it, and cards, resistances and the usual PvP, WoE and Battlegrounds modifiers apply as well.
Equipment break: each cast rolls once against the target's weapon and once against its armor, with a chance equal to the skill level as a percentage (Lv 1 = 1%, up to Lv 10 = 10% per piece). Extra impacts do not add extra rolls. Monsters never lose equipment, so this part of the skill only matters against other players.
Leveling
| Level | Impacts per cast | Break chance (per cast, weapon and armor separately) | SP cost |

| 1 | 1 | 1% | 30 |

| 9 | 9 | 9% | 30 |
| 10 | 10 | 10% | 30 |
Notes
- Because damage rises with the target's VIT, Acid Demonstration excels against high-defense, high-VIT enemies and bosses, and is comparatively weak against frail, low-VIT targets.
- The damage bypasses DEF and FLEE, so neither armor value nor evasion protects the target, but elemental armor and card resistances still apply.
- Damage is halved when used against another player.
- Each cast consumes one Bottle Grenade and one Acid Bottle.
