Asura Strike

Overview

Asura Strike is the pinnacle technique of the Monk. A single strike that ignores all defense, powered by every drop of the caster's remaining SP. When landed, it sets SP to zero, ends Fury, and locks the caster from using the skill again for 5 minutes.

Mechanics

Damage formula (pre-renewal):

Damage = (800 + SP × 10)% ATK, capped at 5,000,000% internally

Where SP is the caster's SP at the moment the attack resolves. All SP is set to zero after the strike, regardless of whether it hits or misses.

The hit ignores both DEF and Flee entirely.

After the attack, the caster is knocked back 3 cells from the target in the opposite direction of the strike.

Prerequisites:

  • Fury status must be active, OR
  • Blade Stop must be active, OR
  • A completed combo chain ending in Combo Finish or a Champion-tier combo skill opens the Asura window

When launched from Blade Stop, the sphere cost is reduced by 1.

Post-use penalties:

  • All SP set to zero
  • Fury ends
  • Blade Stop ends
  • 5-minute cooldown on Asura Strike itself

Leveling Table

Level Cast Time After-cast Delay
1 4 s 3 s
2 3.5 s 2.5 s
3 3 s 2 s
4 2.5 s 1.5 s
5 2 s 1 s

Notes

  • The damage scales directly with SP, so maximizing SP through gear, buffs, and Magnificent (SP+ equipment) dramatically increases the hit.
  • With 500 SP the formula yields (800 + 5000)% = 5800% ATK at level 1. With 1000 SP it reaches 10800% ATK, and so on.
  • The 5-minute reuse lock means Asura Strike is a one-shot opportunity per encounter. Plan carefully.
  • Snap places a 2-second cooldown on Asura Strike — avoid using Snap immediately before intending to cast Asura.
  • Using Asura Strike from a combo chain (after Combo Finish or Champion chain skills) may reduce sphere cost depending on the combo path.
