Create Deadly Poison is a brewing skill of the Assassin Cross used to distill a bottle of Deadly Poison, the catalyst required by Enchant Deadly Poison. Reworked on Vortex Legends with a fixed success rate.
Overview
Each cast attempts to brew one Deadly Poison bottle from a set of venomous ingredients. On Vortex Legends the success rate is a flat 90%, independent of stats, so brewing no longer requires a dedicated DEX or LUK build. A failed attempt consumes the materials and wounds the brewer, dealing damage equal to a quarter of their Max HP.
Mechanics
- Success rate: 90%, regardless of the brewer's stats.
- On failure: the materials are lost and the user takes damage equal to 25% of Max HP.
Materials per attempt: Venom Canine, Cactus Needle, Bee Sting, Poison Spore, Karvodailnirol, Berserk Potion and an Empty Bottle (one of each).
Notes
Keep some HP margin when brewing in bulk; a streak of failures can be lethal to a fragile Assassin. The finished bottles are consumed by Enchant Deadly Poison, so stock accordingly before long sessions.
