Full Strip removes a target's weapon, shield, armor and headgear all at once. It folds the Rogue's four separate divesting skills into a single strike, leaving a player target unable to fight or defend properly for the duration. Against monsters it cannot strip gear, so instead it saps their combat stats.

Overview

Full Strip is a melee-range debuff that deals no damage. On a player it disarms and unarmors them in one motion; on a monster it weakens their offense and defense. It is the Stalker's signature control tool against geared opponents.

Mechanics

Against players: Full Strip attempts to remove the weapon, shield, armor and headgear simultaneously. Any slot protected by a Full Chemical Protection effect is skipped, and if all four are protected the skill fails outright with a notice.

Success formula (players):

  • Chance = ( 5 + 5 × SkillLv )% + 0.2% per point of DEX the Stalker has over the target
  • The chance is never reduced below its base value, even against a higher-DEX target.

Against monsters: the skill has a fixed 50% chance and, instead of removing equipment, reduces the monster's ATK, MATK, DEF and MDEF each by 25% for the duration.

The strip lasts longer at higher levels (and lasts noticeably longer on monsters).

Leveling

Level Base success (equal DEX) Duration SP cost
1 10% 10 sec 22
2 15% 20 sec 26
3 20% 30 sec 30

Each point of DEX the Stalker holds over the target adds 0.2% to the base success chance, so the skill is far more reliable on a high-DEX build against a low-DEX opponent.

Notes

  • Full Strip is blocked entirely when the target is under Full Chemical Protection on all four slots.
  • Mado Gear users cannot be stripped.
  • A stripped target feeds directly into Aggravate: each removed piece counts toward Aggravate's hit count and its Toxic Shock threshold.
