Intimidate (also called Snatch) is a close-range strike that can teleport both the Rogue and its target to a random location on the map. It is a disruptive tool for pulling an enemy out of position.

Overview

Snatch deals a physical blow and, on success, warps the Rogue and the struck enemy together to a random spot on the current map. This makes it useful for dragging a dangerous foe away from its allies, breaking up a formation, or relocating a target the Rogue wants to isolate. The teleport is more likely to land against lower-level enemies.

Mechanics

The Rogue hits an adjacent enemy for weapon-element physical damage.

Damage formula: 100 + 30 × SkillLv (% of ATK)

If the hit connects, there is a chance to warp both combatants to a random cell:

Teleport chance: 50 + 5 × SkillLv + (BaseLv − TargetBaseLv) (%)

The chance rises with skill level and with how far the Rogue's Base Level exceeds the target's, and falls when the target is the higher level.

Leveling

The teleport chance shown assumes the Rogue and target are the same level.

Level Damage Teleport chance SP
1 130% 55% 13
2 160% 60% 16
3 190% 65% 19
4 220% 70% 22
5 250% 75% 25

Notes

Snatch is primarily a control and repositioning tool rather than a damage skill. Because it moves the Rogue as well, it should be used deliberately, for example to separate a target from its support. It becomes available after training Snatcher and leads into Plagiarism.
