Priest
The Priest is a second-class job on the Church of Prontera path, advancing from the Acolyte. Priests are the cornerstone support class, keeping parties alive with strong heals and protective barriers, empowering allies with long-lasting buffs, and channelling holy magic that devastates Undead and Demon enemies. They also gain powerful utility for resurrection, status cleansing, and field control. All Acolyte skills carry over, and a Priest may later advance to the High Priest.
Skill Tree
Increase SP Recovery
| Max Lv | 10 |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
A passive discipline that quickens the Priest's natural SP regeneration over time. The steadier SP flow supports the heavy casting the class relies on, and it underpins later skills such as Resurrection.
Status Recovery
| Max Lv | 1 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Cleanses an ally of several movement and control ailments such as Frozen, Stone, Stun, Sleep and Burning. Used on monsters, it can pull non-Undead foes off their target and blind the Undead, giving the Priest a flexible answer to crowd control.
Resurrection
| Max Lv | 4 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Brings a fallen ally back to life, restoring a portion of their health that grows with mastery. It is the defining recovery tool of the class, turning a wipe into a comeback, and it is especially potent against the Undead.
Redemptio
| Max Lv | 1 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
A sacrificial rite that revives every fallen party member in range at the cost of the Priest's own life and experience. It is a last-resort group recovery for dire moments, trading the caster's standing for the survival of the team.
Sanctuary
| Max Lv | 10 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Consecrates an area of ground that steadily heals allies who stand within it. Against Undead and Demon enemies the holy ground turns hostile, dealing damage and pushing them back. It is the Priest's premier sustained-healing and zoning tool.
Safety Wall
| Max Lv | 10 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Raises a protective barrier on a tile that blocks incoming melee physical attacks for those standing on it. A staple of defensive positioning in both player-versus-player and tough boss fights.
Eucharistica
| Max Lv | 10 |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
A passive deepening of the Priest's bond with the divine, strengthening every Holy-element magic attack they cast. It anchors the holy-offense branch and is required for several of the class's signature spells.
Holy Flare
| Max Lv | 5 |
|---|---|
| Type | Passive |
A passive mastery of Holy Light that raises its total damage and shortens its cast time. It rewards Priests who lean into Holy Light as a primary offensive spell, making it faster and harder-hitting.
Turn Undead
| Max Lv | 5 |
|---|---|
| Type | Offensive |
Attempts to exorcise an Undead target outright. On success the foe is destroyed by holy power, and even on failure it still suffers a holy-element hit. It is the Priest's specialist tool for clearing the Undead.
Magnus Exorcismus
| Max Lv | 10 |
|---|---|
| Type | Offensive |
Calls down a purifying cross over an area that strikes every enemy inside it with repeated holy magic. It hits all foes but is at its most devastating against the Undead and Demon races, making it the Priest's flagship area spell.
Duple Light
| Max Lv | 10 |
|---|---|
| Type | Offensive |
Summons two sacred lights that aid the Priest's normal attacks, one adding physical force and the other a holy magic burst. The chance to trigger improves with a Mace or Book equipped, giving melee Priests a steady stream of bonus damage.
Impositio Manus
| Max Lv | 5 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Lays hands on an ally to bless their weapon with added attack power for a time. A simple, reliable damage buff that also opens the path to Suffragium and Aspersio.
Suffragium
| Max Lv | 3 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Blesses a target, or the Priest themselves, with reduced cast time for a lasting period. It is a flexible casting aid that lets the caster trade a smaller reduction over a long time for a larger one over a short window, and it cannot coexist with Slow Cast.
Aqua Benedicta
| Max Lv | 2 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Draws on nearby water to craft holy consumables, producing Holy Water at first and Aspersio Scrolls at higher mastery. It requires standing in shallow water and keeps the Priest stocked with the reagents its holy skills depend on.
Aspersio
| Max Lv | 1 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Endows an ally's weapon with the Holy element, turning ordinary attacks into holy strikes. It is invaluable for parties fighting Undead and Demon enemies, and it consumes a Holy Water per cast.
→ Aspersio
Kyrie Eleison
| Max Lv | 10 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Wraps an ally in a holy shield that absorbs a number of incoming attacks before breaking. It is a key protective buff that keeps frontliners standing, though it does not combine with some other defensive blessings.
Magnificat
| Max Lv | 5 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
Leads a prayer that boosts SP regeneration for the Priest and nearby party members for a time. It keeps a casting-heavy group fuelled through long fights and is a prerequisite for Gloria.
Gloria
| Max Lv | 5 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
A blessing that raises the LUK of the Priest and nearby allies for a short time, improving their luck-based rolls. It pairs with the rest of the support kit and helps unlock B.S. Sacramenti.
→ Gloria
B.S. Sacramenti
| Max Lv | 1 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active |
An ensemble blessing, cast together with another holy character at the caster's side, that grants the Holy armor property to nearby party members at once. It hardens a whole team against the unholy and complements the weapon-side endow of Aspersio.
Lex Divina
| Max Lv | 1 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active (Platinum) |
A platinum skill, granted on becoming a Priest, that silences a target so it cannot cast. Used on someone already silenced, it lifts the effect instead, making it a precise tool against enemy casters and a cleanse for allies.
Lex Aeterna
| Max Lv | 1 |
|---|---|
| Type | Active (Platinum) |
A platinum skill, granted on becoming a Priest, that marks a target so the next blow it takes lands far harder. It sets up burst damage for the Priest's allies, amplifying a single incoming hit.
