Kafra Save Point Service

The Kafra Save Point Service lets you set your respawn point. It is part of the Kafra Services menu and is always free.

Overview

Your save point is the place you return to in two situations:

• when you are defeated in battle, and
• when you use a Butterfly Wing.

By default you respawn at whatever save point you last registered. Using this service moves that point to the Kafra you are currently talking to.

How it works

When you choose Save Point Service, the Kafra shows your previous save point and the new one, then asks you to confirm:

• Accept: your save point is moved to this Kafra's location. A confirmation message is shown.
• Information: a short explanation of what a save point is.
• Back: return to the main menu without changing anything.

If your save point is already set to the current Kafra, it will simply tell you so.

The service is free and you can change your save point as often as you like: just talk to a different Kafra and accept.

Availability

Each Kafra has its own fixed save location within its town. The Save Point option only appears at Kafras that have a save spot defined (this covers the great majority of town Kafras). At a handful of locations without a defined spot, the option is hidden.
