Heaven's Drive calls jagged spikes of earth up through the ground over a small area, striking everything caught above them with Earth-property magic.

Overview

Heaven's Drive is a ground-targeted area spell. It affects a 3×3 patch of cells around the chosen point and hits each target a number of times equal to the skill level, making it a reliable area-clearing tool against grounded enemies. Because it is Earth-property, it is especially effective against Wind-element foes.

Mechanics

The spell strikes every target in the area once per level (1 hit at Level 1, up to 5 hits at Level 5). Each hit deals magic damage based on the caster's MATK.

Damage formula (per hit): MATK × 100%, repeated SkillLv times.

So total damage on a single target equals roughly (MATK × 100%) × SkillLv. The cast time grows with level (1 second at Level 1, rising by 1 second per level to 5 seconds at Level 5), trading a longer wind-up for more hits.

Leveling

Level Hits SP cost Cast time
1 1 28 1 s
2 2 32 2 s
3 3 36 3 s
4 4 40 4 s
5 5 44 5 s

Notes

The spikes only reach targets standing on the ground; they cannot strike airborne or otherwise out-of-reach enemies. A hit also removes the Root status effect from the target, if present.
