Overview
Spiral Pierce drives a spear into a single enemy with a spinning thrust that strikes five times. Every hit ignores the target's physical defense and briefly immobilizes it. Unusually, the skill's damage is driven by the weapon's weight and refine rather than raw ATK, so heavy, well-upgraded spears benefit the most.
Mechanics
Damage per hit:
Per hit = (WeaponATK × 0.6 + WeaponWeight × 0.6) × (100 + 50 × SkillLv) % + Base ATK + Refine ATK
The skill always strikes 5 times. Each hit ignores the target's physical defense. Damage is then adjusted by the target's body size:
- Small: 125%
- Medium: 100%
- Large: 75%
On a successful hit the target is immobilized for a short time. A spear must be equipped to use the skill.
Leveling
| Level | SP cost | Skill multiplier | Range | Cast time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 18 | 150% | 7 | 0.6 s |
| 2 | 21 | 200% | 7 | 0.7 s |
| 3 | 24 | 250% | 8 | 0.8 s |
| 4 | 27 | 300% | 8 | 0.9 s |
| 5 | 30 | 350% | 9 | 1.0 s |
Notes
- The skill multiplier applies to the weapon portion of the damage (weight and refine), not to total ATK.
- Because damage scales with weapon weight and refine, a heavy and highly upgraded spear is the ideal weapon.
- Ignoring physical defense makes it strong against high-DEF targets.
