Game Systems
Vortex Legends includes several custom systems that change how the game is played compared to a standard Ragnarok Online server. This section documents each one in plain language for players.
Custom systems
- Status Effects ??? status ailments and debuffs that can be inflicted in combat and what each one does.
- Client Commands ??? special in-game commands available to players.
- Custom UI and Overlays ??? extra interface windows and on-screen information.
- Instance System ??? how instances, battle roles, entry restrictions and recovery penalties work.
- Aggro System ??? how the hate table works, party roles, and the @aggro command.
- Warp System ??? fast travel between towns and fields.
- Quality of Life Features ??? convenience features built into the server.
