Double Cast is a self-buff that gives a select handful of the Sage's spells a chance to be cast a second time automatically at no extra SP.
Overview
While Double Cast is active, casting one of its eligible spells has a chance to immediately repeat the spell on the same target for free. This effectively doubles the output of those spells on a successful proc.
Mechanics
Double Cast only affects six specific spells:
- Cold Bolt
- Fire Bolt
- Lightning Bolt
- Fire Ball
- Soul Strike
- Earth Spike
It does not work on every single-target spell — only the six above can be doubled.
Each cast of an eligible spell has a chance to trigger a free second cast on the same target.
Double cast chance formula: (30 + 10 × SkillLv)% — 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80% at Levels 1–5.
The buff lasts 120 seconds. Its own cast time is fixed and is not shortened by DEX.

Notes
Because only six spells qualify, plan your bolt and Soul Strike rotation around the buff — other spells in your kit gain nothing from it.
