Vortex Shield

Vortex Shield is the protection layer that runs alongside the Vortex Legends client. Its job is simple: keep the game fair and secure for everyone. If you play normally with the official client, you will never notice it is there.

Why it exists

Vortex Legends is built around fair competition — in leveling, farming, PvP and War of Emperium. Vortex Shield exists to make sure no player can gain an unfair advantage over others, and to protect the integrity of the server and your account.

One device, one client

Vortex Shield enforces a strict single-device policy:

• You may run only one game client, on one device, at a time.
• Dual-login and multi-clienting are not allowed. This prevents bot farms, unattended multi-character botting and other forms of abuse that hurt the economy and the community.

This rule applies to everyone equally. If you need to play on a different device, simply close the client on the first one.

Fair-play protection

Vortex Shield also watches for unauthorised third-party programs that try to interact with or modify the game client. When it detects tampering, it can take protective action on the account involved.

Important

The points above describe only part of what Vortex Shield does. The full set of protections is intentionally not published. Do not attempt to bypass, disable or "test" the shield — doing so puts your account at risk of suspension or a permanent ban. When in doubt, just play with the official client and you have nothing to worry about.

For legitimate players

There is nothing you need to configure. Vortex Shield runs automatically with the client. Play normally, use only the official client, and you will never be affected.
