Death Valley is a resurrection skill shared by the Bard and Dancer. It brings a fallen party member back to life and restores a portion of their maximum HP, with the cast becoming faster at higher levels.

Overview

Unlike most Bard and Dancer skills, Death Valley is aimed at a single downed ally rather than the party as a whole. It revives the target and heals them, giving the performing classes a way to recover a wipe or a lost front-liner mid-fight. It can be used while the caster is performing a song or dance.

Mechanics

  • Target must be a dead player within 9 cells.
  • Revives the target and restores a percentage of their maximum HP; SP is not restored.
  • Heal formula: Restored HP = MaxHP × (15 × SkillLv) ÷ 100
  • Works on players even if they are affected by an Evil Druid Card; it never affects Undead monsters.
  • Cannot be used on maps where resurrection is disabled.
  • Inside instances, the restored HP is reduced by that instance's heal penalty.

Leveling

Level HP restored Cast time SP cost
1 15% of Max HP 4 s 50
2 30% of Max HP 3 s 50
3 45% of Max HP 2 s 50
4 60% of Max HP 1 s 50
5 75% of Max HP instant 50

Notes

  • At level 5 the cast is instant, making it a reliable emergency revive during heavy combat.
  • Because it works normally on players carrying an Evil Druid Card, it is a dependable raise even for characters who resist ordinary Holy-based resurrection.
  • The heal reduction inside instances means the revived ally may come back with less than the listed percentage in that content.
