Volcano raises a field of Fire energy on the ground that amplifies Fire-property magic for anyone fighting inside it.
Overview
Volcano is one of the Sage's three elemental fields. Cast on the ground, it covers a 5×5 area with Fire energy. Any unit standing in the field gains a boost to its Fire-property magic damage, making it a strong setup tool for Fire casters. The field is a buff zone and deals no damage of its own.
Mechanics
The field occupies a 5×5 cell area and lasts for the listed duration. While standing inside, a unit's Fire-property magic damage is increased.
Fire magic bonus: +12% at level 1, then +14%, +16%, +18%, and +20% at level 5.
Casting Volcano while you already have an active elemental field (Volcano, Deluge, or Violent Gale) that has not yet expired replaces it without consuming another gemstone.
Catalysts and requirements
Each cast consumes 1 Blue Gemstone.
