Purification is intended to be the Paladin's dedicated tool for clearing harmful conditions from allies, taking over the support role currently filled by [[Cure]]. The design goal is a cleanse that fits the reworked Paladin's role as a protective front-line supporter.
Purification is the Holy branch's answer to debuffs. Where the old [[Cure]] only touched a few mental ailments, Purification can clear a much wider range of conditions, from petrification and freeze to bleeding and deadly poison. Each cast removes exactly one effect, so it rewards quick reactions and good target priority rather than spamming.

* Purification has not been implemented yet. The details above describe design intent, not live behavior.
* Replaces [[Cure]] for the Crusader; Cure is no longer part of the Crusader skill tree.
* When released, it is expected to supersede [[Cure]] in the Paladin and Crusader skill progression.
* Removes only one status per cast. Stack additional casts to clear multiple afflictions.
* Has no effect on targets that are immune to magic.

Purification is the Crusader's status-cleansing support skill. It is part of the Vortex Legends Crusader rework and replaces the Acolyte's Cure in the Crusader skill tree. A single cast channels holy power to lift one harmful condition from a targeted ally.

Overview

Purification is the Holy branch's answer to debuffs. Where the old Cure only touched a few mental ailments, Purification can clear a much wider range of conditions, from petrification and freeze to bleeding and deadly poison. Each cast removes exactly one effect, so it rewards quick reactions and good target priority rather than spamming.

Mechanics

Each cast removes a single harmful status from the target. When the ally is suffering from more than one, Purification always clears the most dangerous one first, following a fixed priority order. If the target is immune to magic, the cast has no effect.

The cleanse priority, from highest to lowest, is:

  1. Petrification (Stone Curse, including the forming stage)
  2. Freeze
  3. Stun
  4. Sleep
  5. Poison
  6. Burning
  7. Curse
  8. Freezing
  9. Silence
  10. Slow Cast
  11. Confusion
  12. Blind
  13. Bleeding
  14. Critical Wounds
  15. Deadly Poison

For example, an ally afflicted with both Stone Curse and Freeze has only the Stone Curse removed by the first cast; a second cast is needed to clear the Freeze.

Requirements

  • Heal Lv 2

Notes

  • Replaces Cure for the Crusader; Cure is no longer part of the Crusader skill tree.
  • Removes only one status per cast. Stack additional casts to clear multiple afflictions.
  • Has no effect on targets that are immune to magic.
