Server Rules

Part of Server Information.

The following ruleset applies to every player on Vortex Legends. By playing on the server you agree to follow it.

1. General Behavior

1.1 Respect and Courtesy

All players must treat each other with respect and courtesy at all times. Harassment, offensive language, racism, homophobia, sexism or any form of discrimination is strictly prohibited. Mocking, insulting or causing discomfort to other players will not be tolerated.

1.2 Appropriate Conduct

Disruptive behavior that interferes with other players' experience is not allowed. Spam, trolling or intentional sabotage is prohibited. Vulgar or inappropriate language in public chats will be penalized.

1.3 Respect toward Staff

Respect all Staff members at all times. Verbal abuse, threats or any form of disrespect toward the administrative team is prohibited. Impersonating a Staff member will result in severe penalties.

1.4 Character and Account Names

Offensive, provocative or inappropriate names are not permitted and will be changed without prior notice.

2. Fair Play

2.1 Bots and Third-Party Programs

Bots, macros or any external program that provides unfair advantages are prohibited. Modifying the game client or bypassing server restrictions will result in an immediate permanent ban.

2.2 Bug Exploitation

Exploiting bugs or glitches is not allowed. If you find a bug, report it to Staff immediately through official channels. Taking advantage of errors will result in severe penalties.

2.3 Multiple Accounts

Multiple accounts are permitted, but may not be used to gain unfair advantages. Abuse in events, prize distribution or farming will result in penalties across all associated accounts.

3. Trade and Economy

3.1 Fair Trade

Trade between players must be transparent and honest. Scams or deceptive trade practices will not be tolerated and will result in penalties.

3.2 Real-Money Transactions

Selling, buying or exchanging in-game goods or accounts for real money is strictly prohibited. Any attempt will result in a permanent ban.

4. In-Game Interactions

4.1 Kill Stealing (KS)

The first player or group to attack a monster has the right to defeat it. If you attack a monster by accident, apologize and withdraw from combat.

4.2 Griefing

Intentionally interfering with other players' gameplay is not allowed. Deliberately luring monsters to cause other players' deaths is prohibited.

4.3 Looting

Drops belong to the player or party who defeated the monster, unless another arrangement has been agreed upon in advance.

4.4 MvP Bosses

MvP bosses can be contested by any player (standard KS rules do not apply). Fair competition is expected: do not interfere with another group's skills or mechanics through deliberate disruption. The MvP's aggro and its summoned minions may be taken by any player or group.

5. War of Emperium (WoE)

5.1 Conduct during WoE

All general rules remain in effect during WoE. Use of hacks, exploits or unauthorized programs will result in severe penalties.

5.2 Guild Alliances

Alliances between guilds must be declared to Staff and respected during the event.

5.3 Post-WoE Behavior

A more relaxed atmosphere in chat is permitted after WoE, but racial, gender-based or similar insults remain prohibited. Staff may mute or penalize players if chat becomes unmanageable.

6. Events and Competitions

6.1 Event Participation

Respect the specific rules of each event. Cheating will result in disqualification and further penalties.

6.2 Sportsmanship

Behave with sportsmanship during all competitive events. Taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct may be penalized at Staff discretion.

7. Account Security

7.1 Credential Protection

Do not share your login credentials with anyone. Staff will never ask for your password under any circumstances.

8. Penalties

8.1 Warnings and Bans

Violations will result in warnings, temporary suspensions or permanent bans depending on the severity and recurrence of the offense. The administration reserves the right to determine the appropriate penalty on a case-by-case basis.

8.2 Appeals

You may appeal a penalty through official channels (Discord or forum) by submitting a detailed account of the situation along with any supporting evidence.

9. Support and Reports

9.1 Official Channels

Use official channels (forum, Discord or in-game tickets) to report bugs, issues or inappropriate player behavior. Do not handle disputes publicly in-game chat.

9.2 Rule Updates

These rules may be updated at any time. It is your responsibility to stay informed of the current version.
