Double Cast is a self-buff that gives a select handful of the Sage's spells a chance to be cast a second time automatically at no extra SP.
Overview
While Double Cast is active, casting one of its eligible spells has a chance to immediately repeat the spell on the same target for free. This effectively doubles the output of those spells on a successful proc.
Mechanics
Double Cast only affects six specific spells:
- Cold Bolt
- Fire Bolt
- Lightning Bolt
- Fire Ball
- Soul Strike
- Earth Spike
It does not work on every single-target spell: only the six above can be doubled.
Each cast of an eligible spell has a chance to trigger a free second cast on the same target.
Double cast chance formula: (30 + 10 × SkillLv)%: 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80% at Levels 1–5.
