Land Protector (also known as Magnetic Earth) covers an area of ground with a field that blocks ground-targeted skills.

Overview

Land Protector is the Sage's anti-magic field. Once placed, it nullifies ground-based skill effects within its area — fire walls, ice fields, meteor zones, traps, and similar ground skills cannot take hold inside it. It is the primary counter to enemy area-of-effect ground magic. The field deals no damage.

Mechanics

The skill is cast on the ground and creates a square field whose size grows with level. Ground-targeted skill cells are prevented from functioning inside the field for its duration.

Field size: 7×7 at levels 1–2, 9×9 at levels 3–4, and 11×11 at level 5.

The field lasts from 2 minutes 45 seconds at level 1 up to 5 minutes 45 seconds at level 5.

Catalysts and requirements

Each cast consumes 1 Blue Gemstone and 1 Yellow Gemstone.
