Gravitational Field warps gravity over a targeted area, crushing every enemy inside it with repeated bursts of Neutral magic.
Overview
On VortexRo, Gravitational Field is reworked into a renewal-style ground field. The caster places the field on the ground and is then free to move, cast, and act — there is no self-lock holding you in place. While the field lasts, every enemy standing in it is struck again and again by gravity-magic. The effect is a short, high-pressure burst of area damage rather than a long channel.
Mechanics
The field is laid down on the ground at the chosen spot and pulls on a small area around it. Enemies caught inside take repeated magic hits for as long as the field persists.
Damage formula: each hit deals (100 × SkillLv)% MATK — that is 100% at level 1, 200%, 300%, 400%, and 500% MATK at level 5.
Hit cadence: the field damages every target inside it roughly every 0.55 seconds. The field's lifetime grows with level, so higher levels both hit harder per pulse and last longer, producing more total pulses.
The damage is Neutral-element magic and ignores flinch (targets are not staggered by it). The Emperium takes a fixed amount when struck.
Leveling
| Level | SP cost | Per-hit damage (MATK) | Field duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 60 | 100% | 1.0 sec |
| 2 | 70 | 200% | 1.5 sec |
| 3 | 80 | 300% | 2.0 sec |
| 4 | 90 | 400% | 2.5 sec |
| 5 | 100 | 500% | 3.5 sec |
Notes
- The caster is not locked in place while the field is active — you may move and cast freely after placing it.
- The cast time is a fixed 5 seconds and the skill has a 5-second cooldown.
