Sense inspects a monster and reveals a detailed readout of its statistics and elemental properties.

Overview

Sense is an information skill that lets a Wizard scout a target monster before committing to the fight. It opens a panel showing the monster's vital details, helping the caster pick the right element and approach. It deals no damage and has no effect on the target.

Mechanics

When used on a monster, the skill opens an information window showing the monster's sprite, level, size, race, defensive element, current health, physical defense and magic defense, together with its resistance to Water, Earth, Fire, Wind, Poison, Holy, Shadow, Ghost and Undead attacks.

If the caster is in a party, the readout is sent to every party member on the same map, not only to the caster.

The skill works only on monsters. Aiming it at another player fails and consumes nothing. It deals no damage and does not disturb the target.

Notes

  • Works only on monsters; it fails when aimed at a player.
  • The readout is shared with party members on the same map.
  • Negative resistances are shown as 0 in the window.
  • Sense is currently not available in the Wizard skill tree, so it cannot be learned with skill points at the moment.
