Overview

Lex Aeterna marks a target so that the very next hit it takes deals double damage. It is commonly used to set up a heavy follow-up blow from an ally or the caster.

Mechanics

The mark waits on the target until any attack connects. That single hit deals double its normal damage, after which the mark is consumed.

The mark amplifies the next damaging blow only. It does not affect heals, attacks that miss, or status effects, and only one mark can be present at a time.

Targets that are Frozen or under Stone Curse cannot be marked.

Leveling

Lex Aeterna has a single level with a fixed effect and a 10 SP cost.
