Overview
Signum Crucis is a quest skill, learned by completing a quest rather than by spending skill points. It marks Undead-element and Demon-race enemies across the screen and weakens their defenses, making them far easier to destroy.
Mechanics
When cast, the skill attempts to affect every Undead-element and Demon-race enemy on screen. Each affected target has its physical defense lowered by 25% and its magic defense lowered by 25%. The effect lasts until the target dies. It does not affect players.
Whether each target is successfully marked is determined individually by a success chance based on the level difference between the caster and the target.
Formula
Success chance = 50 + caster's Base Level − target's Base Level (in %)
Notes
- Casting takes 0.5 seconds, followed by a 2-second cast delay before the next skill.
- The debuff persists for the target's lifetime, so a single successful cast remains useful for the whole fight.
