Napalm Beat strikes a single target with psychokinetic energy, dealing Ghost-element magic damage and knocking it back 3 cells.
Overview
Napalm Beat is the Mage's earliest offensive spell: a fast, cheap, single-target Ghost-element hit that scales with the caster's INT. On this server it has been reworked into a pure single-target skill (the original splash behavior has been removed) so it functions as a quick poke and knockback tool rather than an area attack.
Mechanics
The strike hits one target for Ghost magic damage scaled by the caster's Intelligence, and pushes the target back 3 cells.
Damage formula: Damage = 100 + INT (% of MATK).
For example, with 50 INT the spell deals 150% of MATK; with 99 INT it deals 199% of MATK.
Notes
- Ghost element makes it effective against many enemies that resist the elemental bolts.
- Can be copied by Plagiarism and Reproduce.
- The 3-cell knockback can be used to peel enemies off allies or interrupt approaches.
