Vortex Legends includes several custom systems that change how the game is played compared to a standard Ragnarok Online server. This section documents each one in plain language for players.
Custom systems
- Status Effects — status ailments and debuffs that can be inflicted in combat and what each one does.
- Client Commands — special in-game commands available to players.
- Custom UI and Overlays — extra interface windows and on-screen information.
- Instance System — how instances, battle roles, entry restrictions and recovery penalties work.
- Warp System — fast travel between towns and fields.
- Quality of Life Features — convenience features built into the server.
