Soul Change swaps the Sage's current SP with that of a target, sharing mana between caster and ally — or siphoning a little from a monster.
Overview
Soul Change exchanges the Sage's current SP with the target's. On another player it is a support tool to share SP — for example, handing a depleted ally a full mana pool by trading places. Used on a monster it instead grants the Sage a small amount of SP, once per monster. It cannot be cast on yourself.
Mechanics
- On a player: the caster's current SP and the target's current SP are swapped outright. Each character ends up holding the other's previous SP value.
- On a monster: the Sage gains SP equal to 3% of their own maximum SP. A given monster can only be used for this once.
Notes
The SP swap moves current SP only; maximum SP pools are not changed. Soul Change is unlocked through a quest.
