Overview

Training Valley is a single-player instance built for experimenting in a fully controlled environment. It is not a dungeon with waves and a boss — it is a sandbox where you can test builds, gear, skills, damage output and breaking times without anything getting in the way. Inside, experience, item drops and death penalties are all disabled, so nothing you do there affects your character outside.

From the configuration NPCs you can switch your own buffs on and off, enable convenience options (no cast time, no skill delay, no cooldown, maximum ASPD, or full invincibility), spawn fully customizable training dummies with a built-in DPS meter, and time yourself against monsters or against Emperium / barricade breaking. Your buff and option choices are remembered between visits.

The instance is yours alone and ends whenever you choose Finish training (or when its time runs out).

NPCs

Below are the NPCs you will find inside Training Valley and what each one does. (Some NPCs currently use their in-game Spanish label, shown in italics.)

  • Training Spirit (Espiritu del Valle) — the main configuration NPC. From here you can:
    • Configure Buffs — toggle a long list of buffs on or off: Increase AGI, Blessing, Assumptio, Impositio, Suffragium, Angelus, Provoke, Crazy Uproar, Providence, the full set of stat foods and ATK/MATK food, several Gospel effects, EDP, Mind Breaker and Soul Link.
    • Configure Map — toggle testing options for the room: no skill cooldown, no cast time, no skill delay, maximum ASPD, and an invincible mode (you take no damage and spend no SP).
    • Other settings — apply a Gypsy Kiss SP boost (scaled by an INT value you enter) or endow your weapon with an element (Water, Wind, Fire, Earth, Holy, Shadow, Ghost or Poison) for a zeny fee.
    • Finish training — ends the session and returns you to your save point.
  • Nurse (Enfermera) — instantly restores your HP and SP to full and re-applies your configured buffs. Use it to reset between tests.
  • Training Dummies (Configurar Panda — "Panda de Entrenamiento") — four configurable target dummies. For each one you can set its size, level, race, element and element level, class (Normal, Boss or Guardian) and individual stats (STR/AGI/VIT/INT/DEX/LUK/DEF/MDEF), or simply clone any real monster by its ID. Each dummy has effectively unlimited HP and displays a live DPS and total-damage readout above it every few seconds, then refills its HP so you can keep parsing your damage indefinitely.
  • Build Manager — lets you save and load complete equipment-and-stat builds, so you can quickly swap between different test setups.
  • Test Breaker ([WoE Expert] — "Gelda") — Emperium and barricade breaking practice. It times how fast you destroy the Emperium or a row of barricades, records your personal best, and shows a server-wide ranking of the fastest times. The first Emperium attempt is free; each further attempt costs zeny.
  • Monster Tamer ([Domadora de Monstruos] — "Erika") — spawns any monster you choose by its ID, either with normal AI or completely inactive (no AI, so it won't move or attack), and times how long you take to kill it. The spawned monster drops nothing.
