Frost Weapon endows an ally's weapon with the Water property for a long duration.

Overview

Frost Weapon is one of the Sage's four elemental weapon endows. It chills the target's weapon, turning its physical attacks into Water-property hits. It is cast on yourself or on a party or guild member and lasts for several minutes. It cannot be used on an unarmed (bare-fist) target.

Mechanics

The endow changes the target's weapon attack element to Water. While active, the recipient's normal attacks deal Water damage. It does not change or boost the recipient's magic in any way — only the weapon's attack property is affected.

The buff lasts 10 minutes at level 1, 20 minutes at level 2, and 30 minutes at level 3. It is a supportive skill and deals no damage.

3 40 30 min

Notes

  • The target must have a weapon equipped; it fails on a bare-handed target.
  • Only one weapon element may be active at a time; a new elemental endow replaces the previous one.
