First Classes are the starting job paths on Vortex Legends, reached from Novice. Each first class later branches into the second classes and, after rebirth, the Transcendent Classes.
Classes
- Archer — ranged bow specialist; high DEX/AGI, spammable shots and utility.
- Acolyte — holy support and healer; buffs, heals, and holy-element attacks against Undead and Demon enemies.
- Mage — fragile spellcaster; elemental bolts, crowd control and area magic powered by INT.
- Merchant — economy, cart mobility and sturdy melee; discounts, vending, Zeny-fueled burst and axe combat.
- Swordsman — front-line melee fighter; sword and spear combat, debuffs, and physical burst.
- Thief — stealth and evasion specialist; Flee-focused defense, DEX-scaled item theft, and a signature envenomed strike.
