Beast Bane is a passive mastery of the Hunter class that increases damage against beasts and similar creatures.
Overview
Beast Bane permanently raises the Hunter's attack power against several common monster races. It is always active once learned, with no SP cost and nothing to activate.
Mechanics
Damage formula: Beast Bane adds +2 × SkillLv attack against each of four races — Brute, Fish, Insect and the Doram player race — reaching +10 at level 5. The bonus applies to the Hunter's right-hand weapon attacks against any qualifying target.

Notes
Beast Bane is a steady damage boost in fields full of beasts and insects. It is a prerequisite for Beast Strafing and for the Beast Master branch's Beast Taming. On this server the mastery covers four races (Brute, Fish, Insect and Doram), broader than the classic two-race version.
