Hunter's Mark is a custom Marksman-branch skill of the Hunter class that brands a single enemy with a private hunting mark.

Overview

Hunter's Mark is the signature skill of the Marksman branch. It places a mark on one enemy that only the casting Hunter and the marked target can see. The mark sticks even while the target Hides or Cloaks, making it a reliable way to keep eyes and pressure on a slippery foe.

Mechanics

The mark is applied with full reliability to a single enemy within 9 cells. Only the Hunter who cast it benefits from it, and only that Hunter and the marked target can see the icon.

While a target is marked, that same Hunter's ranged physical attacks against it deal +5% damage. The mark is purely a setup and damage-amplifier effect; it deals no damage on application.

Damage formula: ranged physical damage from the marking Hunter against the marked target is multiplied by × 1.05 (+5%).

The mark's strongest payoff is its uptime tool: if the marked enemy dies, the Hunter's Hunter's Mark cooldown is reset instantly, so the next mark can be applied without delay. Higher skill levels extend how long the mark lasts and lower the SP cost. The mark also unlocks the Sniper skill Killshot, which adds critical chance against marked enemies.

Leveling

Higher levels lengthen the mark's duration and reduce SP. The +5% ranged damage and the 30-second cooldown do not change with level.

Level Duration SP
1 20s 100
2 30s 90
3 40s 80
4 50s 70
5 60s 60

Notes

Hunter's Mark is the entry skill of the Marksman branch. Its cooldown-reset-on-kill design rewards aggressive target selection. The icon is private to the Hunter and the target, so it doubles as a personal tracker against Hiding and Cloaking enemies. It carries forward into the Sniper skill Killshot, which converts the mark into bonus critical chance.
