Magic Crasher channels a single, focused burst of Neutral magic into one enemy, dealing damage that scales with the caster's Magic Attack rather than physical power.
Overview
On VortexRo, Magic Crasher is a reworked single-target nuke for the Sage line. Where the classic version converted weapon power into magic damage, this version is a pure magic strike: its damage is driven entirely by your MATK, it always carries the Neutral element, and it lands almost instantly thanks to its short cast time. It is a reliable filler hit between heavier spells, and a way to pressure single targets that resist your elemental bolts.
Mechanics
The skill performs one magic hit against the target.
Damage formula: (100 + 25 × SkillLv)% MATK, resolving to 125% at level 1, 150%, 175%, 200%, and 225% MATK at level 5.
The hit is Neutral-element magic, so it is affected by the target's Neutral magic resistance and by any of your Neutral magic bonuses. The cast time is a fixed 0.3 seconds and the after-cast delay is the same, making it very quick to chain.
Leveling
| Level | SP cost | Damage (MATK) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 18 | 125% |
| 2 | 21 | 150% |
| 3 | 24 | 175% |
| 4 | 27 | 200% |
| 5 | 30 | 225% |
Notes
- The element is always Neutral regardless of any weapon endow or elemental field active on the caster.
- Because damage is magic and MATK-based, it benefits from INT, magic gear, and matching-element amplifiers only when those amplifiers apply to Neutral magic.
