Overview
Signum Crucis burns a holy cross-mark onto all Undead and Demon monsters visible on screen, permanently reducing their physical and magical defence. It is a quest skill obtained through the Acolyte quest line and is extremely valuable before engaging large groups of Undead or Demon enemies.
Mechanics
The debuff targets all enemies within a 31×31 cell radius (splash area 15) that are of Undead or Demon race. The application is not guaranteed and depends on the relative levels of the caster and target.
Application chance
- Success rate = 25 + (CasterBaseLv − TargetBaseLv) %
Note: the base value at level 1 of this skill is 25, giving a floor chance plus the level difference modifier.
DEF reduction
- Physical DEF: −25%
- Magic DEF: −25%
Notes
- This is a quest skill and must be unlocked through a quest.
- Signum Crucis does not affect players.
- The
/swtcommand can be used to visually highlight monsters affected by the debuff. - The debuff lasts until the monster is killed or the effect is explicitly removed; it has no time limit.
