Detect is a utility skill of the Hunter class that reveals hidden enemies and traps in an area.

Overview

Detect sends the falcon to sweep an area, exposing units that are using Hide or Cloaking and revealing concealed traps. It deals no damage.

Mechanics

A falcon must be summoned to use Detect. The skill targets the ground and applies a reveal effect over a 7x7 splash, breaking the concealment of any cloaked or hidden enemies caught in it and uncovering hidden traps in the same area. The targeting range grows with level — reaching farther across the map at higher levels — even though the revealed area itself stays the same size.

Leveling

Higher levels extend how far the Hunter can cast Detect; SP cost is a flat 8.

Requirements

Requires an active falcon from Falconry Mastery.

Notes

Detect is a key anti-stealth tool in PvP and WoE, flushing out Assassins, Rogues and Stalkers, and it doubles as trap detection. It requires Improve Concentration level 1 and Blitz Beat level 1.
