Max level

5

Requires

Steal 1

'''Snatcher''' gives the Rogue's normal attacks a chance to trigger Steal automatically against monsters, at no SP cost. It lets a Rogue gather loot simply by fighting.

== Overview ==
Snatcher turns ordinary combat into a passive source of stolen items. Every normal hit against a monster has a chance to fire off a free Steal at the Rogue's Steal level, without interrupting the attack. It leans on how well the Rogue has trained Steal and is less reliable when the Rogue is using a bow.

== Mechanics ==
On a normal attack against a monster, Snatcher has a chance to perform Steal automatically. No SP is spent, and the Steal is attempted at the Rogue's learned Steal level.

'''Trigger chance:''' 5 + 3 × SkillLv + 2 × StealLv (%)

When the Rogue attacks with a bow, this chance is halved. A successful trigger runs Steal exactly as if it had been cast by hand, so it obeys the usual rules about what can be taken and how often.

== Leveling ==
The table assumes Steal at level 10.
{| class="wikitable"
! Level !! Trigger chance (melee) !! Trigger chance (bow)
|-
| 1 || 28% || 14%
|-
| 2 || 31% || 15%
|-
| 3 || 34% || 17%
|-
| 4 || 37% || 18%
|-
| 5 || 40% || 20%
|}
Lower Steal levels reduce the chance by 2% for each level below 10.

== Notes ==
Snatcher makes the Rogue an excellent farmer, since it steals continuously while clearing monsters. Investing in Steal raises both the trigger chance and the quality of what can be taken. A melee weapon roughly doubles the proc rate compared with a bow.
