Shadow Slash instantly leaps the ninja to an enemy within range and lands a heavy melee blow. It is the opener of the melee combo line, setting up [[Tsugari]] and feeding [[Death Mark]]. The leap is disabled in GvG and Battlegrounds, but the strike still lands.

The ninja closes the distance to the target and strikes. While the ninja is hidden, the strike is split into two hits instead of one.
