Mind Breaker overloads a single target's magical mind, boosting its magic attack while shattering its magic defense.

== Overview ==
Mind Breaker is a debuff that makes an enemy far more vulnerable to magic. It simultaneously raises the target's magic attack power and lowers its magic defense, turning the target into an easy mark for the Professor's own spells (or a teammate's) while also interrupting whatever the target was casting. It is most often used to soften a tough monster before unloading magic damage on it.

== Mechanics ==
On a successful cast the target gains the Mind Breaker status for 30 seconds. While affected, the target's magic attack is increased and its magic defense is reduced.

Magnitude formula:
* Magic attack increased by 20 × SkillLv percent
* Magic defense reduced by 12 × SkillLv percent

Success chance: 55 + 5 × SkillLv percent (60% at level 1 up to 80% at level 5).

A successful cast also immediately cancels the target's current cast. If the target is a monster, it is forced to turn its aggression toward the Professor.

The skill fails outright (consuming nothing) against targets that are immune to status effects, against Undead-element targets, and against a target that is already under Mind Breaker.
