Your '''save point''' is the place you return to in two situations:
* when you are defeated in battle, and
* when you use a '''Butterfly Wing'''.

By default you respawn at whatever save point you last registered. Using this service moves that point to the Kafra you are currently talking to.

Each Kafra has its own fixed save location within its town. The Save Point option only appears at Kafras that have a save spot defined (this covers the great majority of town Kafras). At a handful of locations without a defined spot, the option is hidden.
